About Marilin

Hello, my name is Marilin, and I am a dedicated middle school ELD teacher with over 6 years of experience teaching third grade prior to my current role. I graduated from the University of Maryland and have a strong background in child development, classroom management, and creating safe, engaging environments for children. I am a responsible, patient, and nurturing caregiver with experience babysitting children of all ages, from 10 months to 13 years old. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate effectively with both children and families. I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing board games, and doing crafts, and I love incorporating fun, educational activities into caregiving. I take pride in being dependable, attentive, and supportive, and I always strive to make children feel safe, valued, and happy.
