I enjoy spending time with children, teaching and inspiring them with age appropriate activities. I am fun while having expectations and a certain level of discipline. I believe in freedom within limites. I am fun, creative, resourceful. I am good at observing children and figuring out how to support them in their needs and how to challenge them in areas they can grow. I like working with kids because it's fulfilling and rewarding. I teach but also learn from them. They truly inspire me. In my spare time, I like to do outdoor outings, visit museums, exhibits, the city and travel with my husband and adult children. One thing you should know about me is I am nurturing, committed and reliable. My skills include knowledge of child development, creating classroom curriculum and am very attentive when children are in my care.

Marilia was INCREDIBLE. She is a Montessori teacher and had so many enriching activities for our active toddler throughout the week, while also caring for our 5 month old baby. She was very communicative, asked permission before doing something new like going to the library, and so kind to all of us. She even connected us with other families at our local park since we are new to town. We had such an amazing experience with her, it feels like she’s already part of the family.
