I have been doing my own cleaning at home for years. I've also recently had a job as a housekeeper at McKenzie Willamette hospital in Springfield Oregon for the last few months, cleaning hospital rooms. I can promise you that I've likely seen/smelled/cleaned worse, and that you shouldn't be embarrassed if you need help. It doesn't mean that you're lacking anything if you reach out to have someone else pick up the slack. I'm just starting out, so I would politely request that you have your own cleaning chemicals.
