My time shared with the baby included teaching him new things every day in fun ways; engaging with the baby on his level created happy moments for him. This enjoyable experience unfortunately ended as the family moved out of state. It was a heartbreaking good-bye for all involved. Marieth was hired with very limited experience in caring for children, less than a year when we hired her in May, and at that time she committed to staying with us long-term. Knowing her English was her secondary language and her experience limited, we decided to take a flyer on her. Ultimately, Marieth left on a one week vacation in July, texted us she was giving us a two week notice, then in her first of the last two weeks, told us on Thursday afternoon she couldn't work Friday, then on Saturday before her last week, said she couldn't work her second week at all. To whomever is reading this, insist on a reference and feel free to request us as one.
