About Marie Stuart

I'm a 53-year-old experienced caregiver with a lifetime of hands-on childcare. As a mother of 5, stepmother to 5 more, and grandmother of 10, caring for children has always been my passion. I've been babysitting since age 12 and have worked with children in many different settings. I spent 35 years in the ER and OR, where I learned to stay calm under pressure and handle emergencies with confidence. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and safety is always my top priority. I've run in-home summer programs for up to 9 children, creating structured routines with activities, meals, and supervision. I have experience with medical needs, including diabetes care (blood sugar checks and insulin), eczema care, and strong pool safety awareness. I'm comfortable with all ages, from infants to teens, and adapt to each child's needs and personality. I provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment with dependable communication so parents feel confident and children feel secure.
