About Marie

I am a PhD student in public health at UCLA with a flexible schedule. I am open to consistent work a few days a week and/or individual jobs. I love kids, am extremely organized, and have the experience to keep your children safe while having a fun and engaging time! I started babysitting when I was 13 years old and have babysat as young as 3 months, as old as 12 years, and up to 3 kids at once. During my Masters, I nannied for two elementary school-aged kids for 2 years each week. Additionally, I was a sleep-away camp head counselor for 5 years in charge of 10 young girls each week. I led activities, mentored kids in a self-growth program, and made sure they were safe 24hrs/day. My other work with children includes work at a youth center and work at a maternal center with moms and infants. While caregiving, I feed children, change diapers, put them to bed, take them outside to play, drive them to and from activities, read and write with them, go to parks, beach, or museums, etc.
