I have over 15 years of varied experience working with elders. My experience includes working as a special programs case manager and assessing elders needs in their homes and hospital settings. In addition I have a degree in human services and a minor in counseling. I have earned a certificate as a professional organizer and have also worked as a dietetic technician and have experience with diet instruction and meal planning. Besides my educational background I truly love caring for seniors and am sensitive to the aging process. I also understand the importance of developing positive relationships with their families. I've helped individuals that have cognitive impairment, mobility issues, ADHD, and chronic disorganization. Others needed companionship and socialization. I was a caregiver for my parents while they needed 24 hour care so they could remain at home. I love animals and volunteer as a foster home. I am dependable, honest, and treat clients as family members.

Marie is an outstanding caregiver. Personally, she is patient, compassionate, respectful, reliable, has excellent interpersonal skills and is a wonderful communicator. Her empathetic personality is encouraging and positive. She has effective time management skills so she can multi-task, plan well, and organize. She is truly passionate about being a caregiver and helping others to live a quality life in their home. I was temporary disabled and felt vulnerable, but Marie helped me to recover both emotionally and physically. She plan meals, took me to appointments, made sure I was following my PT exercises and took my meds, and she cared for my dog. Marie was recommended to me by a friend whose wife was terminally ill and he also had medical issues. He described her as a chosen family member. She's terrific.
