About Marie

I like working with kids because I love watching them learn and grow! Seeing a child accomplish something for the first time is amazing, I love watching their minds at work. I'm looking for a job that gives me a space to be creative with activities for children! I love finding different ways to teach kids while keeping them engaged and entertained. I started working with kids when I was in high school, starting out with babysitting and moving forward to becoming a swim instructor. I continued teaching swim lessons throughout college, then spent a summer as a nutrition intern and camp counselor. Since then, I've nannied for two families, most recently staying on with the last family for five years. In my spare time, I love to hang out with my husband and our dogs! I also love to hike, travel, and do yoga. One thing you should know about me is I am always happy to help. My goals are to make the lives of parents easier and ensure the children are safe and happy!
