I like keeping things and places clean and neat. It is how I grew up where everything was fastidiously spick-and-span, kitchen and bathrooms are kept well sanitized, and everything in its own place. As I have been often told by my grandmother: 'A clean and orderly home leads to a smooth running life'. Her and my mother's regular quotes were: "There is a system to everything; therefore, pick up as you go. Maintenance is the key to saving time. A clean uncluttered place is a happy place contributing to a happy life." I live acting on these quotes that were constantly heard and shown. Cleaned and sanitized and maintained save time, keep the pests away, and lead to a healthier life. Doing laundry, changing sheets, airing the bed and pillows, keeping the stove/oven clean, cleaning window/door rails/posts and tracks, floors washed/mopped and/or vacuumed are simply part of the housekeeping routine that I do; not to mention the driveway, porch, hot tub, etc. I find all these as part of my exercise routine that keeps my body in shape. I have kept house for my brother in between jobs. Also, I have previously done property management and facility maintenance in the Bay area for five years.
