About Marie

I am a dependable and energetic childcare provider seeking a role where I can support your family. I truly enjoy working with children and fostering their creativity, humor, and curiosity. My background includes 25 years as an Occupational Therapist in California school districts, as well as experience teaching 1st and 2nd grade in Maryland. I love incorporating fine and gross motor activities into play and crafts to help children build skills and prepare for school. I am comfortable providing care at home or taking children on outings to parks and local events. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, skiing, kayaking, reading, and crafting. Fun fact: I grew up with five brothers as the only girl! Most recently I worked with a 6-year-old non-verbal child in Central Oregon before relocating to Orange County. I can provide a contact for reference. I look forward to discussing how I can assist your family.
