About Marie

I received my HHA several years ago in the San Joaquin Valley, and moved to Redwood City 7 years ago to be closer to my family. I have a very outgoing personality, lots of energy, overly optimistic I'm told, with a high sense of empathy for people and animals (I have 2 Aussie-doodles and a kitten). I am culturally aware and know how to read a room, and am passionate about providing engaging companionship. Some responsibilities included personal; bathing, dressing, transportation, appointments, keeping things tidy, errands, cooking, dog walking, as well as medication dispensing, hoyer lift, and packing/changing wounds/bed sores. I care deeply about people, it's truly my calling and not just a job. While I have extensive experience with a vast amount of personalities from tough cookie to rolls with the punches, if you fall somewhere in-between, we might be a fit.
