I have a huge passion for caring for others, especially the elderly. I worked for a company called AHRC, where I took care of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have also cared for my father after he had a stroke in 2003. Not only did it restrict his independence but his condition Diminished his pride. I took it Upon myself to be my father's caregiver. He was scheduled for haircut appointments every two weeks because grooming is very important. I would take him to the movies every so often. Lunch dates, which he loved. Over all, I made sure that he was happy. Needless to say, this is not just quick money. To be a caregiver, you must have passion when caring for others. You need to be patient Because it's not always easy to be as vulnerable and allow others to care for you. If I can make someone happy and feel joy in their heart while in my care, Then I have done my job! Rest assured, your loved ones will be in the best of care!
