Hi! I'm Maria, I am 27 & mom to a kiddo who is off to pre-k this fall! I recently ended a position caring for an elderly couple with dementia--helping with things from housekeeping, shopping, social enrichment, and limited personal care (my position ended when they moved). These are the things I am also looking for in my next position. I have trained as a CNA (though never actually took my state test because I was hired to be a nursing technician without needing the certification). My experience as a nursing technician at Corewell spanned two years. I have real world experience performing CPR as well as recognizing a stroke. I also love to read, crochet, and do crossword puzzles, so I'll fit in swell with your elderly family members!

Maria cared for my aging in-laws until they recently moved into a assisted living facility. She was a conscientious and kind caregiver, always thinking of ways to improve their quality of life. She engaged them in thoughtful conversation and always treated them with respect. She was attentive to their health and physical well being. In fact, one morning she quickly identified that my father-in-law was having stroke and acted swiftly to get him help. She has also cared for my own kids over the years...and even my dog! Obviously, she's a on short list...we call her when we need expert and kind care for the people and animals we love! I would recommend Maria to anyone!
