About Maria

I like caring for seniors because I have been working with seniors for years and value the wisdom and life experience you gain from being around elders. I feel an obligation to give back to those who came before myself. I'm looking for a job that is hopefully nearby or in my city, though I have a car and am willing to travel. I work in a memory care facility during the daytime so hopefully I can find patients for after work. I started caring for seniors in 2018 doing in-home care before switching to facility care. In my spare time, I like to read, be with my family and friends, and spend time with my cat, Chloë. One thing you should know about me is I have excellent professionalism and organizational skills. I value time most of all so I will be prompt. I am CPR and AED certified and specially trained in dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia care. I am loving and friendly and I treat each patient like a family member of my own.
