About Maria

I am a college graduate and I am taking some time off before applying to graduate programs in Neuroscience. I majored in psychology, with minors in biology and neuroscience and I plan to work with children. I babysit regularly, speak fluent English and Spanish, I have a background in early childhood psychological research, and almost a decade of nannying experience. The families I have worked with in the past have loved me and would be happy to speak with you about my relationships with them and their kids. I have experience with special needs children through undergraduate Occupational Therapy volunteer hours, and from field work in my psychology classes. I love music, art, and theatre so the kids will definitely be exposed to culturally enriching activities and information. I'm also happy to help with academic assignments, help around the house with cooking, cleaning, and pets, and run errands.
