About Maria

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a genuine passion. My 20 years of experience as a Teacher of children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, have solidified my commitment to fostering their growth. I hold a graduate degree and have supplemented my education with Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development coursework. I am also a Certified Teacher. I am patient, creative, and approachable, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I am comfortable caring for up to two children and enforcing household rules. I provide regular updates to parents via their preferred communication method. I am happy to help with carpooling, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I speak both English and Spanish. Knowing I can make a positive impact on your children's lives brings me immense joy.
