My main experience throughout the years has been in childcare. However about 4 years ago I was asked to accompany a Bride's 86-year-old Grandmother to her wedding and stay with her for the weekend, after that I began to branch out. I am not licensed, however I love spending time caring for the elderly, usually cooking meals, giving rides, shopping, housekeeping, organizing and general companionship are where I lean. I have aided in dressing and bathroom as well, but am not entirely comfortable with bathing, as I am small.

We (my family) hired Maria (Ria to us) to closely help my mother get to and be part of my niece's wedding. The wedding was in Delaware; my mother in a nursing home near Philadelphia. My mother was severely disabled with Parkinson's and completely wheelchair bound. This effort required accompanying her in the medical van, and providing all care for an overnight stay. Ria was so very sweet and attentive to my mother, and got her ready and beautified for the wedding as well as almost magically responding to every need before anything was even requested. We were so very grateful for the level of care and caring that Ria provided, and made this special day so much more wonderful and relaxing for us as well. Anyone hiring Ria to care for a loved one will be very satisfied.
