Have 20+ years experience as a caregiver starting when I had to care for my dad after his triple by-pass and my mom's on-set of dementia on separate years. Have cared for patients who suffered from a stroke, open heart surgery & dementia. Apart of the tasks requested; these are others, I intend to encourage: Engage them in interesting/enriching conversation, direct/guide to color store- bought designed art paper pieces; alternating with word puzzles e or reading newspaper/book for mental stimulation/health. It's fulfilling to be a part of their life. I am very organized with the tasks needed to be done and mindful of the prompting of medication. Am compassionate, considerate, patient, perky, an efficient and reliable care giver. It gives me fulfillment to help out. I have a Bachelors Degree with major in Marketing and fluent in English. I have a California Dept. of Social Services Approval Letter as Home Health Care Aide.
