Hi! My name is Mariana and I'm from Brazil. I used to work as a kindergarten teacher before I move to the US. I worked for more than 4 years in schools with children from 5 to 11 years and I enjoyed my time with them a lot. My last job in Brazil before I came to US was in a day care center for babies. I came to the US as an Au Pair and I stayed with the same family for 2 years. I kept working with childcare after my Au Pair program was over, and I have great references. I just moved from San Francisco to Seattle and for that reason I am looking for a new family here. I really enjoy doing what I do for living. Mariana watched our child, from 9-12 months. She was his part time nanny, his grandmother watched him the other days. He is our first and had some complications at birth so we were pretty involved with his care. We loved her. She was punctual, we trusted her. She had no problem with the tracking we did for him around eating. Our son loved her. She helped around the houses as needed, and a few times when we had to switch things around she was able to be flexible. We never saw her on her phone or be distracted, she took a lot of initiative in getting the baby out of the apartment and outside. We always planned to put our son in daycare when he turned 1, that's the only reason we didn't keep working with her. I would highly recommend her:)
