About Mariana

I am the oldest of three girls, we are very spaced out. I am 9 years older than my younger sister. I was born in Brazil, in our culture, the older siblings are expected to care for their siblings. I changed many diapers, rocked them to sleep, and calmed down many tantrums. During high school, I babysat for family friends. For over two years, I worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant with special needs children. This was an amazing experience and taught me so much about kids. I also worked as an afternoon assistant at the Children Learning Center in Wilmington. I was placed in the 2-3-year-old class and would watch up to 8 kids at a time. I loved my time there!
