About Maria

Hi! I'm Maria, a PhD-level psychologist currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship in Autism and Developmental Disabilities at the Waisman Center at UW-Madison. I have extensive experience working with children and families, including children with autism, developmental differences, and varying support needs. My background has given me a strong understanding of child development, behavior, communication, and social-emotional needs. I'm warm, patient, dependable, and comfortable following family routines while creating a fun and supportive environment. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent children and believe strongly in meeting each child where they are. I'm primarily looking for occasional evening and weekend babysitting opportunities in the Madison area alongside my fellowship.
