My name is Maria. I am from Colombia and have been in the states working with families and kids of all ages for the last seven years. My first language is Spanish. I taught myself English and am now conversational -- and always pushing myself to learn more. I love kids. I consider myself a person who learns very fast, is responsible and punctual. I'm happy to rollo up my sleeves to be helpful to my families. I am a trained nurse in Colombia and I bring my knowledge of health and warm bedside manner to caring for the kids I work with.
