About Maria

I started working with kids when I was in high school during an early child development class I took for 3 years. I started working for families after highschool for about 4 years, until I started grooming school. In my spare time, I like to make art, read, practice guitar, go for hikes and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is my other job is professional dog grooming! I have been state certified and grooming professionally going on 3 years now. My skills include managing multiple children at once, being an engaged and caring figure in the child's life, and listening to their interested and helping make their creative and educational aspirations a reality.
