About Maria

Hey there! My name is Maria and I grew up in a zoo for a household! My love for animals has always been a driving factor in my life, and its actually what lead me to study Marine Science at the University of Florida. My dad actually owns a Ball Python breeding business, and I currently work (home aquarium store) here in Gainesville while i'm studying Marine Science at the University of Florida! I've had years of experience with various parrots (conures, cockatiels, parakeets, cockatoos, etc), reptiles (bearded dragons, chameleons, ball pythons, leopard geckos), fish (freshwater and saltwater aquariums, I have two of my own), small mammals, dogs, and cats. I'm not allergic to pet dander, and I'm more than happy to clean enclosures/tanks as well as perform various grooming services (baths, nail trims, wing trims, etc). I am also proficient in basic training techniques with dogs!
