About Maria

I began working with children in 2014 volunteering in my church's nursery. Since then I have gone on to work in many daycares and have nannied for numerous families. I have taken many child safety and child development classes and have learned so much about the beautiful developing young mind. I have a passion for teaching children how to learn and grow, especially at a crucial young age. Thanks to my experience in daycares, I have collected many great gross motor and cognitive activities for all ages. Some of which include sensory activities for infants, alphabet and number activities for toddlers, and so on. Additionally, I have been working in Family Medicine the past 4 years as a Medical Assistant, giving me a lot of experience with pediatric medicine. I have also taken several health care classes, such as CNA and EMT. Furthermore, I am CPR and First-Aid certified. I have experience with ages ranging from six weeks to sixth grade, most of my experience being with infants.
