About Maria

Hi! I'm Maria. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, starting with babysitting for family and neighbors and later working as a preschool assistant and teacher. These early roles gave me a strong foundation in child development, routines, and partnering with families. I graduated from Long Beach in 2024 with a degree in Elementary Education, a multiple subject teaching credential, and authorization to teach in Spanish. I currently work as a multilingual interventionist, supporting K-5 students as they build English skills, strengthen literacy, and grow in confidence. Helping children learn and feel good about themselves is truly the most rewarding part of my work. I'm patient, warm, and committed to creating safe, positive environments where kids can thrive.
