About Maria

Words cannot express what Maria means to our family. We originally hired Maria in August 2016 to care for our then 8-mo child and had another child the following year, who will be in her care for another week before he starts preschool. Thus, we've had the pleasure of Maria caring for our two children for the last four years. We've always been impressed with her ability to be genuinely warm and loving (despite knowing them through their terrible twos and threes). She provides homemade meals and snacks, Spanish immersion, education/art opportunities, and plenty of outdoor fun. Additionally, Maria has always been flexible with childcare which has allowed us to manage varying work schedules and work travel. As a result, we've always made sure to compensate her accordingly for the additional flexibility she's given us to make our careers work, particularly during the chaos of the pandemic. Any parent would be lucky to have Maria as a caregiver for their child - she is truly exceptional!
