About Maria

I have worked with children from kinder to high school level from volunteering at a church, schools and foster care homes. I have worked with children from ages 4-17, in special education classes, after-school programs, ABA Therapy, and group homes. My expertise is mostly with Special Education children and at youth risk and working with challenging behaviors (due to trauma or disabilities). I have worked in school districts in Orange County and Riverside County but also in group homes in LA County. During my time in school districts I have been part of the IEP meetings or behavioral meetings. When I worked in group homes, I cooked and light chores. I am looking to cover for those nights that you need more when its a late emergency, late evenings or weekends.
