About Maria

Caregiving has always felt like a natural calling for me. I come from a big multicultural family and I love learning about new cultures. In my 18+ years of nanny experience it has been such a gift to have had the opportunity to care for so many wonderful children! I especially enjoy caring for infants, and I've been honored by many families to be their baby's first sitter. Watching them grow and change has been such a joy! It makes me so happy to see their eyes light up when they make a new discovery or learn something new. I love to share my passion for the outdoors, music, reading, speaking Spanish, arts & crafts, and baking/cooking. I've worked as a private, professional, long term nanny, as well as an On Call nanny for several agencies. I'm happy to share my nanny resume as well as on and off island references if wanted.
