About Mariah

I am a stay-at-home mom and full time college student (online). I am working towards a degree in psychology and am working towards pursuing a career in helping better understand child development. I have a 4-year-old daughter and a 2-month-old son. I am looking to find a family who is willing to accept me and my children. I will take care of any child with the respect and kindness that I give my own. When I babysit I do many activities with the children including fun learning activities as well as outdoor activities. I believe that the best way for a child to learn is hands on collaborative play, exploring, and through everyday life. I have been a nanny to 3 families over the years; one for 3 years and the other two for 2 years. I have also babysat kids of all ages as well. I have taken childhood and lifespan development courses throughout my schooling focusing on the way children of different ages act and react. I am very good with kids and babies in any situation.
