About Maria

For over 10 years, I have been dedicated to nurturing children's growth and development, inspired by early babysitting experiences and a genuine desire to positively impact young lives. I have an instinctive approach which is patient, creative, and friendly. I am comfortable caring for up to two children of all ages. I can set up a schedule or routine in terms of feedings, naps and playtime. I can also make food for your baby or toddler. I can provide written daily reports and am happy to follow your preferred communication methods. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. As a certified former teacher, I enjoy playing educational games and doing crafts that promote learning. I am also happy to travel, transport, and engage children in outdoor play. I speak English and Portuguese, and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to bringing my experience and passion to your family.
