Hello, I have over 20 plus years as a caregiver. Both with agencies, IHSS and private care. I have worked wirh clients with Dementia, Alzheimer's. I have worked with bed bound clients where I would provide bed baths, feedings, rotation of every two hours to prevent bed sores. My mother who recently passed away, I had to take care of her stage 4 sacral wounds. Provided comfort, companionship, help with daily living such as dressing, bathing, Aid with transfers in and out of bed. Personal care, toileting. I am going to school for massage therapy. I would like to incorporate massage for hospice and cancer patients. I love helping people and treat my clients like family. I treat them how I would of wanted my mothers caretakers to have treated her with compassion, patience, and dignity because I understand sometimes it's hard for others when they rely on someone else for basic care.
