About Maria

Hi there, my name is Maria and I'm an energetic and creative 35-year-old! I started out in Marketing and Film, but fell into childcare five years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. I'm looking for a full time position, with a minimum of a one-year commitment, and my rates start at $30/hour for one child. I have worked for 6 families as a babysitter and now looking for a long term position but still open to continue babysitting. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, cooking/ baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook fancy dishes, read, and play board games with my friends.
