Currently, I am working for a family full-time (Monday-Friday) in Burlingame with a boy who is 2.5 years old however, the labor situation will change to a part time job because he is going to preschool all week. My previous full time job was with a girl that I took care of since she was 3 months old until she was 5 years old. As to my personality, I am a responsible, efficient, dedicated, compassionate, understanding, reliable, trustworthy, and loving nanny, and I consider the infants I take care of as my very own. I am a preschool teacher and also I have a specialization in language therapy. I got my degree in Peru. I was born and raised in Peru; however my parents are from Barcelona, Spain. I speak English, Spanish, and Catalan fluently. Because of my studies, I have the knowledge required to motivate babies in a variety of subjects, which include the five areas of child development. Maria Dolores is a wonderful nanny who was with us for 3.5 years. She has grown to be a very dear part of our family. She has 10y+ experience with infants/kids of all ages, speaks Spanish and English, holds a title in speech therapy from her home country Peru, is CPR certified, a skillful driver and a great cook. She assisted us also with the laundry, grocery shopping and other errands. Maria Dolores is extremely loving, caring and dedicated and we have left our son in her care including on weekends, parent/child swim lessons and even doctors/dentists visits. Maria Dolores is like a third parent to our son. She is energetic and fun and got more laughs out of our little one than any of us. I can highly recommend her!
