About Maria

Hi! I'm Maria. I teach preschool part-time, but I'm also a lifelong learner. I recently received my BA from TMC, receiving a classical education with an estimated 50 essays and 200 books in subjects ranging from Humanities & Philosophy, to Euclidean Geometry & Astronomy, to History & the Arts. (authors such as Plato, Kant, Twain, Shakespeare, Lewis, and Dostoevsky). My senior thesis was on Dickens, Austen, Aristotle, & Aquinas. My junior project was on Alcott. My electives included three literature electives and one history elective. My GPA was 3. 45. I'm an avid reader and writer with an eye for detail. My strengths tend towards language and literature, but I have always been an A and B+ student across the board, comfortable with learning and retaining almost anything. As the 4th of 10 homeschooled children, I have always loved kids. Through the years, I've helped with homework in my homeschooling family and recently in college, giving me experience with homework for all ages.
