Hi, I'm Maria. I just recently moved here from New York City and I'm loving the California life! I am a Teacher of the Visually Impaired at the California School for the Blind in Fremont. I have been a teacher for 14 years and have taught babies and children to the age of 18; general education as well as special needs children. I enjoy teaching children and watching them grow joyfully and pridefully as they learn new things while having fun. I have two daughters. My niece and nephew are twins and that has just added having children to a new level. I am very energetic and enjoy life and embrace all experiences. I could often be found doing crafts, enjoying nature, playing tennis, reading, hanging out with new friends or doing something creative. I look forward to new opportunities as I start building my life here in California.

Maria has been helping pick up our kids (from school) the last 1.5 years. She's dependable, punctual, and full of energy. She's very creative keeps the kids engaged with a variety of activities - art & craft, gardening, taking them for a walk, etc. She's very responsible and I do not have to worry when the kids are in her care. I highly recommend Maria.
