Hi! I'm 24 years old and I'm from Argentina. Back in my country I was doing an English-Spanish Translation BA at UNC. In this program I studied both English and Spanish focusing on grammar, phonetics and phonology, vocabulary, etc. In late 2021 I moved to the US to improve my English and after 2 years in Greenwich, CT where I was working as a live-in nanny, I decided to move to NY. Next year I'll be transferring to a school in the area and I'm planning to get a BA in Linguistics. I have worked as a nanny since I was 15 years old. When I started college back in 2018, I started tutoring (English) the kids I took care of. I would help them with exams, homework and give them extra practice. When I worked as a live-in nanny in CT, I also taught the kids Spanish and I would help them with their homework. I am not a certified teacher but I think that being bilingual and having many years of experience as a nanny would make me a good candidate for the job.
