About Maria

Hi there! I'm Maria, a 26-year-old who recently graduated with my master's in social work. I am looking for part-time work this summer before I can apply to career-specific jobs. I have over 7 years of experience supporting children within various settings: counseling, special education, speech & language therapy, summer camps, tutoring, and more. In addition to childcare, I'm able to provide literacy tutoring to children aged 5 to about 12. With my therapy training, I may be able to support kids with anxiety and other mental health struggles. I am neurodivergent (diagnosed with ADHD) and may be a better fit for kiddos with similar presentations. I absolutely adore cats, creative activities, and organizing.
