Engaging one in the interests that they once enjoyed sharing with others. I feel it is important for each of us to feel good about ourselves. When the individual is mobile, I believe a breath of fresh air and the change of scenery, can help create, a renewed perspective, of where they are in life! When an individual is not mobile enough to go for a car ride or walk, I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of being creative to put a spark in their day! Every day doesn't necessarily need to be out and about, but does need to have interest and meaning to their days.

I have known Maria since childhood and watched her grow into a mature, intelligent, gracious, generous, trustworthy, compassionate adult! She is a natural caregiver! Her legacy are her sons and the young adults she has been a caregiver for.
