About Maria

Hi! I'm a NC Pre-K lead teacher with over 10 years of experience working with young children. I have a Bachelor's in Teaching of Modern Languages, TESOL certification, an Early Childhood Education diploma, and a CDA. I'm also bilingual in English and Spanish. I really enjoy working with kids and creating a calm, safe, and engaging environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. I like to keep a good balance of play, routine, and gentle guidance, so kids can learn, feel confident, and just be themselves. I'm available for evenings, weekends, and occasional care. At times, my 3-year-old son may be with me, which often creates a natural, play-based setting for social interaction. I'm reliable, patient, and easy to communicate with, and I take pride in providing high-quality, attentive care that parents can truly feel confident about.
