Maria was the nanny for my granddaughter from birth to 9 months, at which time my daughter moved out of state for job reasons. I would visit my granddaughter 1-2 times a week during this time. Maria started as a night nurse and then as a daytime nanny when my daughter went back to work after 3 months maternity leave. Maria’s dedication to my granddaughter was commendable, at the very least. The first few months were quite challenging due to my granddaughter’s low birth weight and colic. Maria’s experience, dedication, and endless motivation to increase her knowledge base helped my granddaughter reach the 50th percentile in weight and become a baby who is filled with smiles and laughter. She was a great source of guidance for my daughter, as well. Maria has an understanding of development, cooks delicious meals, and looks to help the family as a unit. She makes good recommendations regarding toys, developmental aids, etc. and often puts in time outside of work hours to find things to help and enrich.
