About Maria

Hey there! My name is Maria. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Portland State University this winter. I currently work at Belmont Academy with a wonderful class of 2-year-olds and have been working with children for the past three years as a nanny and student teacher. I have worked with a diverse range of children from infancy to primary school age. I am CPR/First Aid Certified, registered with the Central Background Registry, and with the Oregon Registry Online. I use a constructivist approach and believe that children learn from everything around them. I have so much joy working with children and would love to bring that to both your family and your child(ren). I will be looking for a position starting January. With my background and experience, I am prepared to commit to the highest level of care and exceed your expectations as your child's caregiver.
