About Maria

Hi, My name is Maria and I am 32 years-old and I am a licensed social worker and licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor in NJ. The population I am focusing on in regard to my career is Adolescents and children therefore I have a lot of experience working with children who have experienced trauma, a mental health disorder, etc. I have been working with children since I was 15-years-old; My first job being at Diamond Gymnastics. I began to babysit weekends which lead me to finding a full-time nanny position while pursuing my under-grad. I played b-ball, softball and did gymnastics growing up therefore I have a lot of energy and love outside activities. If the weather is nice I would much rather be outside to avoid TV and tablets. I am certified in basic life skills and I believe I bring a lot of positive energy to the families I work with. I believe I bring the perfect balance of fun, knowledge, positivity and trust to families I work for!
