About Maria

I'd describe my personality as an animal-loving, honest, sweet, patient, and very responsible. I've had pets all my life. I grew up in Mexico and had exposure to all farm animals. I worked at a vet clinic there. Since moving to Connecticut, I've always had a pet dog and now even a pet bird. I like working with animals because we understand each other without the need for spoken language which can be a barrier at times since Spanish is my native tongue. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue caring for animals and making their loved ones feel at ease. In my spare time, I like to being in contact with nature and listening to the sound of birds and water. I also like playing basketball and going on long walks. One thing you should know about me is that I am very responsible and reliable, and I will take care of your pets as if they were my own children. My skills include pet body language, responsibility and reliability, and lots of love.
