About Maria
Experience: 1 yr
Hello! I started working with kids when I was 19 during university. I worked part-time at a nursery and preschool with children ages 2-5, and then as a part-time nanny for 3 children ages 6-8. For a while when I was in school, I was a live-in family-helper and drove children to sports, lessons, school, etc. along with countless hours of tutoring at the middle and high school level. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exercising, and practicing yoga! I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and speak Bemba, a local language to Zambia. I am skilled in conflict resolution, building schedules, and developing creative play activities.
