About Maria

Hello! I'm Maria, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Brazil! I'm currently a caregiver living in the USA for 3 years now and I have +12, 000 hours of childcare experience across families and classroom settings. I hold two bachelor's degrees in Education (plus a Post-Graduation in English Translation) and have worked as a 1st-grade teacher, English teacher, former au pair and professional nanny. I've been working with kids since 2019! I excel in early development, educational play and routine management! I'm CPR/First Aid, Infant Safe Sleep and Water Safety certified. I'm a reliable licensed driver, fluent in English and Portuguese (I can also speak some spanish!), non-smoker, pet-friendly and fully vaccinated! I'm also very organized, clean, patient and deeply dedicated! I love teaching and being part of someone's learning process, from babies to teens!
