About Maria

With over 20 years of experience in childcare including more than 15 years at a licensed daycare center. I am dedicated to fostering the development and growth of children of all ages. I hold Maryland's 90-Hour Child Daycare Certification, 45+ hours of continuing education, CPR and First Aid certification from the Red Cross, and have safety training. I am fluent in Spanish, certified as an interpreter for Howard County Public Schools. and currently work as both an interpreter and a para educator supporting children with disabilities. Comfortable with pets, I enjoy engaging children through outdoor activities, reading, crafts, and more. Reliable, caring, honest, responsible, and patient, I am committed to creating a positive, nurturing environment for every child I work with. I am also continuing my education to become a special education teacher.
