I taught Spanish at a Montessori School, Five Oaks Academy, for two years. I taught children from Pre-K to 8th Grade. I focus on the self-esteem of the child and his/her ability to learn new languages as for some this could be difficult/frustrating, I build their self confidence so that Spanish becomes more attractive to them and they can learn it easily. I ensure that the students learn the various words utilized to reference the same item in the different Spanish speaking countries so that the student is well rounded and better prepared when traveling abroad.
