I earned my Master's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I'm a former cancer research scientist from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and I'm currently a business owner and Emergency Medical Technician. For many years I was a Teaching Assistant for American University's Honors College; where I taught 2nd and 3rd year students to overcome challenging homework assignments, prepare for exams, and stay ahead of the curriculum. I enjoy inspiring and encouraging young people to take control of their own learning experience, to be confident in their intellectual abilities and reminding them that with curiosity, passion and dedication the world is truly their oyster.
