About Margot

Hello! My name is Margot and I am currently seeking opportunities to support local families and pet owners on weeknights and weekends. I graduated from Ohio State in 2021 with a BS in Environmental and Natural Resources and currently work full time at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Between 2021 and 2022 I participated in a volunteer program , I supported a locally owned and operated pit bull rescue nonprofit, an after school program for children in kindergarten through 8th grade, and a daycare for 2-4-year-olds. My experience through these programs sharpened my animal and child care skills, as well as my comfortability with various individuals. Since October of 2022 I have been volunteering , I am trained to handle various sizes, ages and temperaments of dogs. I also volunteer with APA's cat centers where I assist in feeding, handling and playing with the cats as well as changing litter boxes and other cleaning needs.
